Reproduce the issue:
Per ServiceNow email
The text cannot be highlighted in doctype pages. It impacts text selection, causing confusion when copying and pasting, because the selected text does not visually appear highlighted even though the copy-and-paste function still works.
The issue cannot be reproduced on Customer instance today. On the Dev instance, the text is selectable and can be copied without issue.
Per KB1638823
As of the Chromium release dated Monday, November 18, 22:14:44, the feature has once again been rolled back. Customers who update their browsers to this version or the equivalent Chrome version 131.0.6778.86 should no longer experience any related issues, eliminating the need for fix scripts or updates from our end.

Per ServiceNow communication
- ServiceNow introduced a fix These changes were made in Washington DC Patch 7b Hot Fix 1, Washington DC Patch 8 Hot Fix 3, Washington DC Patch 9, and Xanadu.
Per KB1638823
It is likely that Chrome will reintroduce this feature in a future release. So it is recommended that customers update to the latest version that include a fix for this such as Xanadu or Washington Patch 9.
My suggestion is to schedule an upgrade to Patch 9 this evening for Dev, and next Friday for Prod, leaving us 1 week to confirm there is no impact.
